I learnt a valuable lesson all those years ago…
You don’t need fancy things to make beautiful images.
Big lights, expensive lenses, crew—none of it is essential.
In fact, these are often distractions.
Creativity is about how you see.
Photography is about how you make people feel.
Ideas are more important than tools.
Delight more important than detail.
This was the easiest series I’ve ever created.
Natural light. Zero fuss.
My favourite studio of all-time!
It was fun.
Folks loved it.
The festival published it.
Then they commissioned me to shoot their festivals internationally.
Most importantly, I learnt…
