Photographing children is humbling.
There’s no choreography. You don’t direct. And you’re certainly not in charge.
The only guarantee you have is that the moment will not wait.
So you run.
Lungs burning, fingers crossed.
Doing your best to keep up… and keep shooting.
And why?
Because the pot of gold is so worth it.
Timeless keepsakes for them.
And a potent reminder for me.
Life is to be chased, and cherished.
